1. Without prejudice to the provisions of Article 6 of Council Decision 90/424/EEC and the measures already taken by Member States, Member States other than the United Kingdom shall take appropriate precautionary measure in relation to susceptible animals dispatched from the United Kingdom between 15 July and 6 August 2007, including isolation and clinical inspection, where necessary combined with laboratory testing to detect or rule out infection with the foot-and-mouth disease virus, and where necessary those of Article 4 of Directive 2003/85/EC.
